Michal Conford, an award-winning documentary filmmaker, is head of the film department at Ryerson University, in Toronto. Lisa Field co-leads her father’s real estate company with her sister, and serves on the boards of directors of a number of organizations, including the Brandeis Arts Council, the Baruch College Fund and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. After reelection in November, Jesse Gordon is serving his first full term as Randolph, Massachusetts, town councilor. He reports he recently met Waltham city councilor Paul S. Katz ’85. David Marcu, who lives in Jerusalem with his wife, Rona, is senior CEO of Israel Elwyn, an organization that provides support services to individuals with disabilities. In March, he received the 2021 Sylvan Adams Nefesh B’Nefesh Bonei Zion Prize, an award given to immigrants to Israel, for his work in the area of community and nonprofits. David, who made aliya in 1984, is father to Aviya and Elisha, and grandfather to Shoham, Liya and Agam. In 2021, Jon Parritz and wife Robin ’83 welcomed their second and third grandchildren, Levi Barker and Ella Ruby, who joined big sister/cousin Hannah Rose, born in 2018. David Silver, GSAS MJC’84, reports daughter Shira and son-in-law Alex welcomed a baby boy, Ezra Meyer Langer, on Aug. 15. Ezra joins big brother Saul, who is almost 3.
