Laura Alpert, Heller MM’98, is chief advancement officer at MAB Community Services, headquartered in Brookline, Massachusetts, which helps individuals with a range of disabilities live full lives in the community. Previously, she was vice president of philanthropy at Boston Arts Academy Foundation. Deann Forman has launched Perspicuity Coaching & Leadership Services, which provides executive coaching and staff development for individuals and teams. Discounts are available for Brandeis alumni. Adam Kleinberger has been appointed ombuds at Harvard University. Last summer, he married Elizabeth Morency, with many Brandeis alumni in attendance. Janet (Lipman) Leibowitz and husband Mark have now celebrated two COVID-era bar mitzvahs: one for older son Noam Yehudah in June 2020, and the latest one for younger son Nadav Yosef in January, both in Sharon, Massachusetts. Serena (Watnick) Madar is a sole-practitioner attorney with extensive experience representing individuals, and small, midsize, and Fortune 100 and 500 companies in litigation and arbitration. She also does pro bono work defending indigent tenants in eviction cases and is a part-time supervising consultant in Greater Boston Legal Services’ COVID Eviction Legal Help Program. Megan Raye, GSAS MFA’02, is director of human resources at Aspen Publishing. On July 29, 2021, she and husband Ron celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary. In September, they hosted a party in the backyard of their new home in Wilmington, Massachusetts; attendees included Rafi Levavy ’94, Melissa Morrow ’94, Dave Gold ’94, Cyndy So Myers ’95, Nadina McLean Pendleton ’95 and Deborah Melkin ’97.
