Myra Biblowit, Heller MSW’73, retires this summer as president and CEO of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation after 21 years. During that time, she helped BCRF, the largest private funder of breast cancer research worldwide, raise $1 billion to prevent and cure breast cancer. She will remain involved in the organ­ization as president emeritus. Charles Isbell, GSAS PhD’73, in May retired from the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Louisiana State University. His 12th book, “A Modern Jewish Perspective on the Gospel of John,” will be published this fall by Wipf and Stock. Charles Sweezey, GSAS MFA’74, has taught for 47 years as a professor in the Department of Theater and Dance at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Before that, he was an instructor at Vassar College (where his students included Meryl Streep). He has also designed scenery, costumes and lighting for more than 100 productions, and designed scenery for professional theater companies in New York and St. Louis.
