After 26 years as a trial lawyer and business litigator, Jason Levine has joined Omni Bridgeway, a global commercial litigation-finance company, to lead its new Washington, D.C., office and its antitrust initiative. In January, Shilpa Naik became an associate justice of the Rhode Island Family Court, the first Indian-Asian American to serve in this role. Previously, she worked in family court as a court-appointed special advocate, providing legal representation to children in the care of the Rhode Island Department of Children, Youth and Families. Stuart Slotnick consulted on the writing of a book about his father, attorney Barry Slotnick, titled “The Defense Lawyer” (Little, Brown, 2021). The authors are James Patterson and Benjamin Wallace.
