Laurence Blumberg is president and CEO of Arch Oncology, a clinical-stage immuno-oncology company. Laurence, who earned an MD from Temple University School of Medicine and an executive MBA from Columbia Business School, has more than 30 years of experience in the biotech field. Darrell Gaskin, P’18, has been elected to the National Academy of Medicine. The William C. and Nancy F. Richardson Professor in Health Policy in the Department of Health Policy and Management at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, he does research related to the reduction of health disparities and the promotion of health equity. Liz Kanter Groskind has completed a three-year term as national board chair of MAZON: A Jewish Response to Hunger. She says her work with the Waltham Group during college continues to inspire her to do more to take care of others. David Lewis is a member of the U.S.-Caribbean Consultative Group and co-chair of the Caribbean Policy Consortium, both based in Washington, D.C. Rosemary Rodriguez directed the “Monkey Dory” episode of the HBO Max series “Peacemaker.” Loren Weisman has earned a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from the University of Maryland. In December, she and Stephen ’82 welcomed their first grandchild, Charlotte Joelle Mayer; daughter Emily and son-in-law Phil are the baby’s parents.
