Dan Gold has joined Shearman & Sterling’s Dallas office as a partner in the litigation group. In the wake of the pandemic, Brian Goldberg has reinvented his Mr. Bing restaurant brand (the subject of a feature in Brandeis Magazine’s Winter 2018/19 issue) as a consumer packaged goods, e-commerce and food service manufacturing business. The company’s specialty is chili crisp, described by the Mr. Bing website as “an intensely flavorful, crispy, not-too-spicy, slightly sweet, mouthwatering condiment.” Attorney Michael Hayden was elected secretary of the Massachusetts Bar Association for 2021-22, serving as part of the organization’s leadership team. After 17 years at the Oregon Department of Justice, Eva (Tayrose) Novick has joined Foster Garvey as of counsel, advising business and individual clients on privacy and data security matters. Shana Rapoport is environmental program manager at the Colorado River Board of California. Dan Rose is president of Susan Gage Caterers, which serves the Washington, D.C., area.
