Alison Dobrick is a professor in the College of Education at William Paterson University, in New Jersey. She is also director of the WPU Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies. Masha Feigelman is co-founder and deputy CEO of Cardo Health, a Swedish digital-health company. In February, Michael Saivetz and Adam Rifkin hosted a gathering at the Core Club, in New York City, to celebrate the life of their friend Ruben Cohen, who passed away on July 3, 2021. The event kicked off a fundraiser for the Dr. Ruben Cohen ’97 Endowed Scholarship, which will provide financial aid to undergraduates who desire to improve society and are pursuing a pre-med course of study. Dean Tran is a candidate for U.S. Congress from Massachusetts’ 3rd Congressional District. He is a former two-term Massachusetts state senator and six-term city councilor in Fitchburg. Nadav Zeimer, who retired early from nearly two decades of work as a high school principal in low-income schools in New York City, is co-leading an initiative that uses NFTs to incentivize project-based learning in 11th and 12th grades. Brandeis computer science students will work as interns this summer to help launch this high-school transcript app. Nadav sends a shout-out to computer science faculty members Tim Hickey ’77 and Harry Mairson, who taught him in the early 1990s and continue to inspire young minds at Brandeis today.
