Dear Investigators,

Today the NIH issued Guide Notice NOT-OD-26-012 with updates about the extended guidelines for October and November due dates. The notice states that any application with a due date between 10/1/25 and 12/5/25 is now due 12/8/25 (no 2-week extensions allowed). Further, they are allowing a post submission update of one page of preliminary data for all activity codes (due 30 days before the study section meets). With such a tight turnaround and the Thanksgiving holidays coming up, please let us know by the end of the day if you are considering a submission for 12/8 and we will do our best to accommodate these. Additionally, please consider whether a post submission data update will suit your needs. 

Finally, there is also some helpful information in the guide notice regarding rescheduling of peer review meetings that might be of interest to many of you.
