Respiratory Care
The Health Center's Respiratory Unit (RU) is dedicated to evaluating acutely ill patients. We host two hospital quality negative pressure exam rooms which allow us to evaluate patients with airborne illnesses, while simultaneously creating the safest possible environment for our patients and staff.
To access the RU go up the ramp toward Public Safety, take a left and ring the doorbell on the right of the door.
Masks are required for Health Center staff and students seen in the RU.
Services
- Evaluation and treatment of symptoms for acute infections. Testing for Influenza, COVID-19, or Strep may be included in your sick visit evaluation.
Symptoms That May Require an RU Visit
- Fever
- Sore throat
- Swollen glands, etc.
