Creative Resources

The following staff people will help you plan and implement your project:

Ingrid Pabon, Office of the Arts, will help you manage your budget, order materials, and set up meetings with Public Safety, Facilities, etc.  or 781-736-5002.

Dennis Finn, Facilities. Dennis is the secret hero of the arts at Brandeis! Talk to Dennis if you are installing work outdoors: he can advise on how to keep things safe. If you need things transported, fill out an online work order, and ask the Office of the Arts for the chargeline so that it will be billed to your grant budget.

Deborah Rosenstein, Music Department. See Deborah about rehearsal time, recording, equipment, and anything else having to do with Slosberg.

Robbie Steinberg, Student Activities, oversees the SCC Theater. If you are performing there, you are required to meet with him.

JV Souffrant, Student Activities, books rooms in the Shapiro Campus Center and Usdan Campus Center, and oversees the use of the Atrium and other public spaces in SCC. If you are using any of these spaces, you are required to have a meeting with JV.

Brandeis Sound and Image Media Studios (SIMS). Located in the Brandeis University library on Farber Level 3, Sound and Image Media Studios (SIMS) provides training and support in video production, audio production, digital photography, graphic design and animation. Students lead orientation sessions every Friday from 3 pm - 5 pm. SIMS Support Desk: 781-736-4522

  • With certain exceptions, grants may not be used to buy major pieces of equipment.

Acknowledgment of Support

Grant recipients must mention the Leonard Bernstein Festival of the Creative Arts and credit the Brandeis University Office of the Arts in all print and online announcements, publicity, and programs for the funded project. The following phrase is recommended: “Part of the Leonard Bernstein Festival of the Creative Arts and made possible [or Made possible in part] by the Office of the Arts at Brandeis.”
