Fabio Castel Garcia

Fabio is a creative leader and versatile visual storyteller with over 15 years of international experience in digital media production.
Before joining Brandeis, he served as the director of video production at Minnesota State University, Mankato, following a diverse career in Brazil that included work with advertising production companies, grant-funded and independent projects in narrative and documentary film and broadcasting at regional networks.
Drawing on his BA in Mass Media and Anthropology from MNSU, Fabio brings a unique, intercultural lens to his cinematography and post-production work. As a first-generation college graduate, he is deeply committed to amplifying the diverse voices of the university community. He views filmmaking as a tool for connection, ensuring that every student’s story is captured with the authenticity, dignity and visual excellence it deserves.
