Part-time, fully online, financially accessible

The 30-credit Digital Innovation for FinTech program has seven required courses and three electives. Required courses provide students with a focused education surrounding fundamental topics in the field, while electives build upon specific professional skillsets and allow students to enrich and round out their studies.

Admissions Criteria

In addition to the general admissions requirements, those applying to the Digital Innovation for FinTech program should have completed undergraduate-level coursework in general finance or economics.

Digital Innovation for FinTech

Meet our featured faculty

Our FinTech faculty understand the nuances and challenges of the industry today. As startup founders, financial services innovators and active working professionals, they structure their GPS curriculum to draw on real-world expertise and connections. Faculty members include:

  • Sarah Biller is a senior level executive with experience building innovative technology platforms at pioneering start-ups and high growth companies. She is the former head of Innovation Ventures at State Street. Sarah co-founded the FinTech Sandbox and sits on the Advisory Boards of multiple start-ups.
  • Chiwai Chow is a Senior Corporate Actions Analyst at Commonwealth Financial Network, which is one of the nation's largest private financial service firms. He has over a decade of financial industry experience. His interests in intellectual research and sharing financial knowledge have landed him roles in working with graduate level finance courses at Harvard University Summer School and Harvard University Extension School.
  • Michael Storiale is the Vice President, Digital Banking Manager for Guilford Savings Bank where he develops, implements and manages all customer-facing technology. His responsibilities span the Bank's digital properties, including online and mobile banking, digital acquisition channels, the corporate Website, voice response unit and the call center. Mike received his MBA from the University of Hartford, and his undergraduate degree in Business with a concentration in International Business and Marketing from Wagner College in New York.
