Managing at Brandeis Certificate Program (by Invitation Only)

Brandeis is offering a professional development opportunity for managers presented virtually (replacing the Nuts and Bolts series) called Managing at Brandeis. The curriculum is targeted at newly appointed and mid-stage managers and focuses on practical knowledge and skills needed to succeed in management and leadership at Brandeis. Finding More Time in Your Day - Tuesday, March 19, 2024

Most time management systems focus on goal setting, prioritizing and interruption management.  And yet, it doesn’t allow for the certainty that often everything does not go according to plan!  While adding more hours to our day may not be possible, recent studies suggest people who practice mindfulness  experience time as passing more slowly and feel less rushed as a result. Remarkably, they saw this effect after just a single 10-minute meditation. Come and check it out yourself!
