The new Massachusetts Paid Family Medical Leave Act goes into effect on January 1, 2021. Brandeis has designed its own private plan that will provide leave benefits under this new law. To learn more about Brandeis’s new medical and family leave program, please attend the session that lines up with your employee status below:

In addition to these sessions, communications describing the new benefits will be emailed to employees. A new dedicated website outlining Brandeis’ Paid Family and Medical Leave Plan will go live later in December. For more information about the new benefits contact Kevin Pierson or Liz Tierney.

Online COVID-19 Safety Training Course

 ALL members of the Brandeis community accessing campus are required to complete the Online COVID-19 Safety Training Course. Additional information can be found at COVID-19 Resources.

Management Nuts and Bolts Series

A series of trainings for managers detailing how to implement specific Brandeis policies and procedures in light of COVID-19. Trainings will be presented virtually via Zoom.

Managers Skills Development Trainings (presented by Breakthrough Collaboration)

Previously available by invitation only, these workshops are now open to all managers who would like to take advantage of this opportunity and can be taken as a series or as individual sessions based on interest.

Workshops will cover special challenges due to COVID-19 and will be presented as 90 minute webinars from 9–10:30 a.m. on the following Tuesdays:
