Benefits and Wellness

The benefits and wellness team oversees the day-to-day operations of the university's benefits plans and shapes the department's benefits and wellness strategy.

Team members can help answer questions covering the university's medical, dental, life and disability plans; retirement [403(b)] plans; and wellness programs as well as information about paid time off, family medical leave, workers' compensation and tuition remission.

  • Ensures resolution of university faculty and staff benefits concerns.

  • Develops benefits-related communications with assistance of benefits and wellness team.

  • Provides information and guidance to faculty and staff regarding Medicare options.

  • Conducts employee benefits orientations.

  • Manages relationships with benefits-related vendors, consultants and edHEALTH.
