Boston Library Consortium

COVID-19 update:

Access to most BLC and SHARES member libraries is restricted during the COVID-19 pandemic. Please visit individual library websites in advance of any visit.

Boston Library Consortium LogoThe Boston Library Consortium (BLC) is comprised of 17 academic and research institutions in the greater Boston and New England area.

As a member of the Boston Library Consortium, current Brandeis University students, faculty, and staff may visit and borrow books and other materials from other BLC institutions as long as they present an active BLC borrowing card and a Brandeis ID. You must obtain a BLC card before visiting another library.

Walk-in Borrowing

Current Brandeis faculty, staff, and students may borrow materials from Boston College, Boston University, and Northeastern University by presenting their Brandeis ID. You can manage your loan from these institutions by logging into your Brandeis library account from OneSearch.
