About the Library
With more than 800,000 volumes, 170,000 serial titles, and 300,000 audio/visual recordings, the Brandeis Library houses a growing collection in the sciences, creative arts, humanities, government documents, Judaica, and social sciences — including rare and unique collections.
The Brandeis Library includes the University Archives and Special Collections, Sound and Image Media Studios, Brandeis Design and Innovation, the Center for Teaching and Learning, and Brandeis University Press.
