Bob Klein received the Arthur Gibb Award for Individual Leadership from the Vermont National Resources Council. The honor came as Klein stepped down as state director of the Nature Conservancy’s Vermont chapter after more than 30 years of service. Bob helped Vermont add thousands of acres of land to state parks and forests, including the Green River Reservoir State Park and Knight Island.

INDIA'S TREASURE TRAIL: Two dozen intrepid travelers visited Humayun’s Tomb, a World Heritage Site in New Delhi, as part of an Alumni Travel Program trip. The 15-day excursion through India, led by faculty member Harleen Singh, a comparative-literature scholar and native of the country, included stops at the Taj Mahal, the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, Jaipur and Dera Amer. The tour wrapped up in Mumbai, a city with a rich Jewish heritage.
