Professor Duncan Harris, PhD’73, was feted at a retirement party marking his 44 years at the University of Wyoming. A Shakespearean scholar in the Department of English and director of the University Honors Program and Summer High School Institute, Duncan received the school’s Ellbogen Lifetime Achievement Award in 2007. The Rev. Carl Schultz, PhD’73, was named pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Marlborough, Mass. George Ingham, MA’78, wrote “Irish Rebel, American Patriot,” the first biography of William James Macneven. Macneven was a Catholic leader of the Great Irish Rebellion of 1798, a captain in Napoleon’s Irish Legion and an important figure in the Irish community during the rise of American democracy.
