Tamar (Soloff) Brower in September celebrated her 90th birthday with a family luncheon at Five Crowns restaurant in Corona del Mar, California. On Oct. 25, her first great-grandchild, Theo Benjamin Hemmel, was born in Brooklyn, less than 6 miles from where Tamar was born. Diana (Laskin) Siegal reports grandson Joe Siegal was an associate producer on Ken Burns’ PBS documentary on Muhammad Ali. Joe consulted with Peter Miller, an award-winning filmmaker and son of the late Miriam (Smith) Miller, on licensing music for the project.
