Robert Levin, who is semi-retired, and Barbara Cohen live in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. Last summer, Allen Sabinson was awarded an honorary degree at Drexel University’s commencement and retired from the university, where he had been dean of the Westphal College of Media Arts & Design for 15 years. During his tenure, more than 15 Westphal design and media programs achieved national rankings. Prior to joining Drexel, Allen held leadership positions at Showtime, TNT, A&E, NBC and ABC, and was president of production at Miramax Films. Fifty-one years after their wedding in Berlin Chapel, Barbara Freedman Wand, G’24, G’24, and husband Mitch Wand, G’24, G’24, watched granddaughter Lena Ben-Gideon ’24 lead services there during Brandeis Family Weekend. Lena’s twin sister, Vered ’24, is also a Brandeis student. Barbara practices estate and charitable planning law at Day Pitney in Boston. She is also a member of the board at the Anti-Defamation League’s New England office.
