In July, Sarah Cohen graduated from the Thomas Jefferson University/AI Dupont/Nemours Hospital for Children pediatric residency program and was honored with the Academic Excellence Award. On Aug. 8, Sarah married Adam Solomon in a COVID-safe ceremony in Philadelphia. The couple and their new puppy, Wilbur, then moved to Hamilton, Ontario, for Adam’s job. “Quite a summer,” Sarah notes. Following a small civil ceremony held in June, David Litvak and McKinley Sherrod were married in an interfaith ceremony in Chicago alongside friends and family. David is an attorney-adviser at the Board of Veterans’ Appeals. McKinley is a design strategist at the University of Illinois Chicago’s Institute for Healthcare Delivery Design. Andrew Litwin finished his general-surgery residency and is completing a fellowship in trauma/critical care in Newark, New Jersey. He welcomed his first child, daughter Samantha Joy. Ian Price and Elizabeth Haley Praught were married on Sept. 11. The wedding was originally planned for April 25, 2020, before COVID rescheduled it. Comedian Noam Shuster produced a documentary, “Reckoning With Laughter,” which covers her time in quarantine at a Jerusalem hotel during the COVID-19 pandemic, and her joy in watching Jewish and Palestinian Israelis connect with one another during their enforced confinement together.
