In October, Roslyn Laufgraben Bernstein celebrated the publication of her debut novel, “The Girl Who Counted Numbers.” The story is set in Jerusalem in 1961 during the Adolf Eichmann trial. Marc Sapir reports his second great-granddaughter was born on Aug. 18 to his first granddaughter. Marc works at a couple of volunteer medical clinics each month. He also posts pieces he’s written at marcsapir.net. (“Word finding is becoming a treasure hunt,” he says.) Bob Schneider, P’91, G’25, writes that grandson Adam Dickstein ’25 made the dean’s list both semesters of his first year at Brandeis. Adam’s aunt (and Bob’s daughter) Lori Schneider ’91 is also a Brandeisian.
