Rabbi Michelle Greenfield, of Kol Tzedek Synagogue, in Philadelphia, was awarded the Dan Cedarbaum Prize in Jewish Education by the Mordecai M. Kaplan Center for Jewish Peoplehood. Michelle engages children in producing liturgy that reflects the Jewish community’s pluralism and diversity. Yishan Lam, who lives in Singapore, is head of product and design for the Asia-Pacific market at SoftServe, a digital authority and consulting company. Arnon Shorr’s award-winning debut graphic novel, “José and the Pirate Captain Toledano,” hit bookstores in May. Alan Tannenwald and Abbie Loewenstein enjoyed their wedding celebration on June 27, 2021, after it was postponed from 2020 by the pandemic. Rabbi Michelle Greenfield officiated. Rabbi Leslie Keiter Tannenwald ’71, GSAS MA’76, P’05 (Alan’s mom), was in attendance, as were Jason Cloen; Amy Blanchard Crimlisk; Gloria Sheu; Michael Davidson; Audrey Yanoff ’71; and Andrew Jagoda ’81. Alan and Abbie moved to Marblehead, Massachusetts, in December 2021, and Alan joined BitSight, a cyber-security ratings company, as vice president, assistant general counsel, and assistant secretary at the beginning of 2022.
