Roy DeBerry, GSAS MA’78, PhD’79, and his daughter Aisha are the co-authors of “Dad-Daughter Dialogues: Conversations Across Generations and Cultures,” published by Westbridge Solutions in August. Ann-Louise Kleper, P’01, of Northbrook, Illinois, was honored with the 59th Annual Julius Rosenwald Memorial Award at the Jewish Federation of Chicago’s annual meeting in September. Ann-Louise has served as a leader in the Jewish Federation system for most of her adult life. Bruce Singal, P’06, is a partner in Hinckley Allen’s litigation department, concentrating on white-collar criminal and civil commercial cases. He is also president of the New England regional board of the American Jewish Committee, which advocates for the welfare of the Jewish people and the State of Israel. But his most important role, he says, is being the proud grandfather of Riley (5) and Cameron (3). A book by Peter Skagestad, GSAS PhD’73, “Exploring the Philosophy of R.G. Collingwood,” was released in paperback by Bloomsbury Academic in May.
