Bruce Decter has been a cardiologist in New Hyde Park, New York, for 28 years. His daughter Ashley Prawer recently joined him in practice at Cardiovascular Consultants of Long Island. For the second year in a row, Washingtonian Magazine named Dennis Kelleher one of Washington, D.C.’s Most Influential People in banking and finance, saying he “isn’t afraid to go against the grain in promoting the public interest.” Dennis was the only nonprofit leader selected for the recognition. He is co-founder, president, and chief executive officer of Better Markets, established to make finance and government serve society, and promote economic security, opportunity, and prosperity for all Americans.
