Natalie Brader, a mergers and acquisitions integration executive at Akamai Technologies, lives in Austin, Texas, with her granddaughter. Gerard Cabrera is celebrating the publication of his debut novel, “Homo Novus.” Publishers Weekly Booklife calls the novel “stellar,” saying it treats the relationship between a Catholic priest abuser and his victim-survivor “with rare sensitivity, empathy, and intelligence.” Gerard is a court attorney in the New York City Civil Court, posted to the Manhattan Family Court. Risa Glaser Grimaldi and husband John celebrated the arrival of their first grandchild, Rosalie, in June. Olaf Olafsson is the author of a novel, “Touch,” published by Ecco in August, about an aging man seeking to discover the truth about an old romance. Olaf, a native of Iceland who was a Wien Scholar at Brandeis, is a former member of the university’s Board of Trustees. As a business executive, he was involved in Sony’s creation of the PlayStation video game console.
