Education is central to the mission of the Brandeis Materials Research Science and Engineering Center. The MRSEC offers a broad range of educational outreach programs for K-12 students and teachers, undergraduates, graduate students and postdocs.

A collaboration between Brandeis University and Waltham High School brings scientists from a variety of fields to talk with high school students about their path into science and their current research. 

Summer Programs for Undergraduates

The competitive REU and SMURF programs provide opportunities for undergraduates to do hands-on laboratory research.

Resources and Opportunities for Graduate Students and Postdocs

In preparation for future careers in materials research, Brandeis offers graduate students and postdoctoral scholars many opportunities for scholarly engagement.
