Physics Undergraduate Departmental Representatives

Hi all, my name is Marcus Hoskins and I am a junior at Brandeis double majoring in Physics and Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science. I do research under Brian Swingle, and my interests include transport properties of chaotic spin chains and (more recently) entanglement and its relationship with gravity. In addition to being a Physics UDR, I am also a community advisor for the 2022-2023 academic year in the Massell quad. I enjoy running and hiking. Outside of studying and talking about Physics, I like to read and make/listen to music. I find most everything interesting, so if you have questions about anything or want to talk to someone about whatever it is you are interested in (academically or otherwise), please feel free to reach out.
My name is Albert Countryman and I'm a Junior majoring in Physics! My primary interests within the discipline mostly pertain to the fields of plasma physics, rocketry, and biophysics. I've previously worked in a biophysics lab studying Metachronal Waves in cell cilia, and am currently working with an intercollegiate team at Olin College of Engineering to construct and fire a Hall-Effect Thruster. Outside of physics, I love to draw and animate!
