Physics Undergraduate Departmental Representatives
Hey y'all! I'm Greg and I'm a senior majoring in Physics and Theater Arts with minors in Creative Writing, Environmental Studies, and Mathematics. I'm interested in Acoustics, Planetary Physics, and Physical Oceanography. I'm currently conducting an undergraduate thesis with Professor Albion Lawrence, studying the efficacy of satellite altimetry in studying eddies in the Labrador Sea. I am a NOAA Hollings Scholar and STEM Posse Scholar. Other than Physics, I am in Brandeis' premiere Sketch Comedy group, Boris' Kitchen, and President of the Brandeis Science Research Connections club.
Hi! I'm Joy, a senior double majoring in Physics and Applied Mathematics with minors in Computer Science and Music. I'm currently involved in the DarkQuest experiment, focusing on using simulated data to help improve detector performance. As a UDR and president of the Physics Club, one of my goals is building community within the physics department so feel free to reach out with any questions about the major! Outside of physics, I'm a Leonard Bernstein Fellow for violin performance and play in various music ensembles.
Hi! I’m Kyle, a sophomore majoring in Physics and Computer Science. I'm currently doing research in the Hagan Lab, where we study the dynamics of spontaneous virus capsid assembly using computer simulations. As a UDR, I’m excited to help people discover their own interest in physics and help them navigate through the courses at Brandeis. Outside of physics I’m a night market coordinator for the Taiwanese Student Association who enjoys playing the guitar, and skiing.
