Advised Programs
There are several programs that the Department of Student Activities is responsible for the direct advisement and implementation. Fall Fest, Junior/Senior Formal, Senior Week, and SunDeis are annual programs for which the Department selects students to serve as coordinators and guides them through the planning and implementation of the events. We use these opportunities to give students "real life" experience talking with professional agents, performers, and businesses; planning each of the events from brainstorming to actual event; training and overseeing peer volunteers; and acting as the host to the target audience. We see these programs as instrumental in the development of our future citizens.
