The Brandeis University Graduate Department of Classical and Early Mediterranean Studies is excited to introduce our annual graduate conference, entitled “The Lost Lives of Antiquity: Maginalization in Ancient Society and Literature." This year's conference will encourage the exploration of marginalized groups in antiquity. The intention of this conference is to create a platform for communities that have been greatly overlooked throughout history. Graduate students are encouraged to submit paper proposals that focus on fields including: Classical Studies, Anthropology, Women and Gender Studies, Disability Studies, Philosophy, and Religious Studies.
