Susan Piland
Managing Editor, Brandeis Magazine
Susan edits, writes for and handles the day-to-day operations of Brandeis Magazine, the university’s flagship publication. She also edits and writes other high-level university communications.
Before coming to Brandeis in 2012, Susan was executive editor of Northeastern University Magazine. Earlier, she directed Northeastern’s publications team, producing major print materials for admissions, advancement and the president’s office. Her editorial career began at Houghton Mifflin, where she advanced to the level of senior editor in its college textbook division.
She has an AB in English from the College of William and Mary.
