ENACT Educate and Advocate Grant
NOTE: Applications will be considered on a rolling basis.
ENACT: The Educational Network for Active Civic Transformation is pleased to announce a grant opportunity for the Brandeis University community. Grants will support undergraduate student-focused events that seek to educate our community and advocate for positive change on important current public policy issues, such as healthcare equity, reproductive justice, immigration reform, criminal justice, and voting rights. Proposals that value collaboration between student organizations, and/or between undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff are encouraged. Proposals that are part of a Brandeis course are eligible.
For example, "Make Your Vote Count: A Voting Rights Discussion," a student-created event funded by an ENACT Educate and Advocate Grant, featured Aaron Scherb, Senior Director of Legislative Affairs for Common Cause; Marisol Santiago, Policy and Organizing Director for MassVOTE; and Prof. Zachary Albert of the Brandeis University Politics Department, and was cosponsored by ENACT, the VoteDeis Campus Coalition, the Brandeis University Student Union, Brandeis Democrats, and Brandeis University Young Americans for Liberty.

· inform and/or link to ongoing initiatives that enable the proposed event to contribute to an enduring activist impact on our campus and/or in broader communities.
