Student Projects
First Year Projects
Brandeis Language Oscars
Annually, students from each language program at Brandeis University present videos demonstrating their growth in their first year of language study. This is a fun, friendly competition, and a great opportunity for students to showcase their language skills in creative ways!
Second Year Projects
Мульти-Россия Projects
Project-based learning is a teaching approach in which students engage with a real-world problem and explore complex issues, acquiring knowledge and skills in this process. Every fall, students in the RUS 30 course research cities/regions that are of interest to them inside the Russian Federation, in other post-Soviet countries, and in countries with a significant presence of the Russian-speaking diaspora. They create digital stories presenting their chosen region with the goal of educating others about the diversity of Russian speakers in the world.
