DeisHacks 2024

DeisHacks, the Brandeis social-good hackathon, took place at the library over the January 26-28th weekend, and it was a great success. We had over 124 participants on 30 teams work intensively for 48 hours to propose solutions for 18 local community-based organizations. $4,000 in prize money was distributed to the seven winning teams. The winning team in the "Best Overall" category proposed an augmented reality escape room experience to draw a younger audience into the Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation. See the DeisHacks project gallery to view the full list of winners and submissions.

Congratulations to all on a great hack-a-thon!
