Barbara Levine Sugarman writes, “In my professional life, I went from being a school psychologist to becoming a director of special services. Then I taught psychology at the local community college, a job I continued into my 80s; almost every semester I felt I helped turn someone’s life around. In my personal life, I was happily married to Dan, a clinical psychologist and psychology professor, for 56 years. We added three to the world’s population: Jeremy, a medical ethicist; Rhona, a psychiatric social worker; and Amy, the VP of human resources at Ferragamo USA. They, in turn, have added four more young men, whom I enjoy watching grow and develop.”
