Michelle (Davis) Cohen was installed as a four-year member of the board of trustees of the Foundation of the Association of Legal Administrators at the organization’s international conference earlier this year. In June, Grayson Dantzic, along with Renee Heywood ’90 and Marlon Forrester ’04, presented talks on the theme of “evolution” for the Alumni Association’s Alumni of Color Network. Grayson has given an autographed copy of his 2017 book “Jerry Dantzic: Billie Holiday at Sugar Hill” to the university’s Robert D. Farber University Archives and Special Collections Department. The book showcases photos that Grayson’s father, Jerry Dantzic, took of singer Billie Holiday during her weeklong run of performances at a New Jersey nightclub. Zadie Smith wrote the book’s introduction. After suffering a stroke in 2017, Karen Splansky Farbman, P’18, retired as a physician in pediatric emergency medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital. She and David Farbman ’90, P’18, have three children. Emily ’18 is a student at UMass Medical School. Shira is a junior at Barnard College/Jewish Theological Seminary. Jonathan is a sophomore at Needham (Massachusetts) High School. Karen writes, “Please friend me on Facebook so we can stay in touch.” Cornelius Salmon served as foreman for a special jury verdict in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
