Kim and Josh Block in May celebrated the bat mitzvah of the oldest of their four children. Kim runs an educational consulting and executive functioning practice, and is an adjunct professor at American University’s School of Education. Josh has been chief executive officer and president of the Israel Project, a nonpartisan pro-Israel educational organization, for seven years. Before that, he spent a decade at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, worked in Democratic politics, and served as a political appointee at the State Department under President Bill Clinton. Rachel (Cook) Goclawski was recently featured in the Boston Globe Magazine and Baystate Parent magazine for her work as a foraging and mushrooming instructor. A certified educator and naturalist who teaches all ages, Rachel partners with such organizations as the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History and Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts.
