Aliya Bean will leave her position as a legislative aide for the Congressional LGBT Equality Caucus in the U.S. House of Representatives to pursue a master’s in public policy at the University of Chicago. Marissa Ditkowsky graduated magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, from the American University Washington College of Law. She received the T. Morton McDonald Scholarship Award, presented to a student who excels in the field of legal research, and has published articles in the UCLA Women’s Law Journal and the National Lawyers Guild Review. She plans to work with AARP Foundation for about six months, followed by a two-year public-interest fellowship funded by the Gallogly Family Foundation. Hannah Kober is pursuing a doctorate in educational linguistics, with a concentration in Jewish studies, at Stanford Graduate School of Education. Anntonette Laird left Boston in August to begin her first year at Notre Dame Law School after working for two years with Foley Hoag’s intellectual property team. Brandon Odze married Alison Simon ’17 on June 2 in Paterson, New Jersey. The ceremony was officiated by Cantor Matt Axelrod ’88. Josh Hacunda; Mike Chaput, IBS MA’17; and Zach Vieira ’17 were groomsmen. Barbara Soley started a subscription e-commerce tea company, JacquelinesTeas.com, working closely with Lassor Feasley ’15 to develop the business. Paul Linet ’75, P’08, P’10, served as an adviser.
