Jessie (Goldberg) Cline and husband Joshua welcomed a baby girl, Sarah Golda, on Feb. 10. She joins siblings Bayla Chaya, Yisrael Matan and Yehuda Nadav. Grandpa Arnold Goldberg ’76, P’04, is thrilled. Rebecca Incledon enjoyed a couple of Brandeis-in-Chicago experiences this year: watching the Judges play basketball against the University of Chicago and reconnecting with David Rakowski, the Walter W. Naumburg Professor of Composition, while he was in town for the premiere of a piece he wrote. She says she also had a great time in Waltham at her 15th Reunion. Eszter (Lengyel) Neuman and husband Ariel welcomed daughter Maya Klari on April 8. Maya joins big brothers Zev (5) and Louis (2). The family lives in Los Angeles. In 2018, after more than a decade in law practice, Eszter founded SteinScope, a health-care regulatory compliance consulting firm. Ariel is a partner at law firm Bird Marella, representing clients in high-profile civil cases and criminal investigations. Travis Seifman earned a PhD in history at the University of California, Santa Barbara. His research focuses on identity and ritual performance in diplomatic relations between the Okinawan kingdom of Ryukyu and the Tokugawa shogunate of Japan in the 17th-19th centuries. He started a postdoc this fall at the University of Tokyo. Jane Shlimovich, MA’05, is vice president and corporate counsel at Safari Energy, in New York City. She focuses on expanding the company’s holdings of solar assets and building more green energy in the U.S. Jeffrey Tornheim married Jessica Brandt on Feb. 20 in Westmoreland Hills Park, in Bethesda, Maryland. An infectious disease doctor, Jeffrey is an assistant professor of medicine and a physician-scientist at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Jessica is a fellow in foreign policy at the Brookings Institution.
