Materials Research Science and Engineering Center

The REU students and MRSEC grad and undergrad students participated in a workshop arranged by Karen Burns, Education Specialist at the VA Aquarium & Marine Science Center, and Deidre Gibson, Associate Professor of Marine & Environmental Science at Hampton University. They also gave presentations to local high school students.

The REU students each conducted independent research with MRSEC labs on campus during Summer 2014. They presented their findings at the Brandeis symposium at the end of the summer.
