Preparing for Teaching Continuity

Our Brandeis teaching/learning community is challenged to make substantial alterations to the educational experiences that sustain our Brandeis goals and values. In the online teaching/learning environment, we can continue to model the principles of access and social justice upon which Brandeis was founded. Please be flexible and creative about the work you require of students.

These questions may be helpful in guiding your individual teaching choices:

  • When my students become Brandeis alumni, what is the most critical knowledge from my course that they should apply in the world? (This informs what content you'll include.)
  • What are the most important skills they can practice now in my course that they will rely on after graduating? (This guides how your students will learn through the course activities and assignments.)

The Center for Teaching and Learning and our many CTL Partners offer round-the-clock support for all members of our Brandeis teaching community. This Teaching Continuity webpage contains the most current resources and we update it regularly.
