Graduate Student Housing

Graduate Student Housing provides several resources for finding housing in Waltham including: The Brandeis Graduate Student Housing Facebook page and the roommate finder Diggz.

Brandeis Libraries

Brandeis Libraries will give you access to OneSearch, which allows university access to journal articles off campus. Additionally, they house data services and host several workshops/trainings on data analysis, Endnote/Zotero, and more.

Software

Chemdraw, Endnote, MatLab and other useful university provided programs can be found at Brandeis available software.

Graduate Student Affairs

Graduate Student Affairs organizes different programs and educational/social workshops throughout the year for current Brandeis graduate students. One such program is Peer Connect, an interuniversity mentorship program. Additionally, they advise the Graduate Student Association.

The Graduate Student Association

The Brandeis Graduate Student Association (GSA) is an independent student body that represents all graduate students at Brandeis. The body takes lead in coordinating academic, social, and other activities important for graduate students to ensure engagement and to inspire students for active participation in community building activities. They also represent the voices of graduate students and serve as a bridge for communication between graduate students, administration, and faculty.

Brandeis Grad Student Union

All collective bargaining agreements, including PhD student teaching assistants and teaching fellows, with Brandeis University can be found at the Office of Human Resources.

Brandeis Counseling Center (BCC)

Brandeis Counseling Center (BCC) focuses on stabilization and short-term individual therapy and group therapy. They also offer short-term psychiatry and medication management. All services delivered at the BCC will be billed to insurance with no out-of-pocket expense for students. Community therapy services will not be billed to insurance.

The Center for Career & Professional Development (CCPD)

The Center for Career & Professional Development (CCPD) is a holistic career development organization for Brandeis students. They provide relevant trainings and access to employers.

Office of Equal Opportunity (OEO)

The Office of Equal Opportunity (OEO) is responsible for addressing all issues of discrimination, harassment and sexual violence within the Brandeis community.

Prevention, Advocacy & Resource Center (PARC)

The Prevention, Advocacy & Resource Center (PARC) is student-centered confidential resource for members of the Brandeis community impacted by violence and/or wishing to contribute to the anti-violence movement.

Intercultural Center

The Intercultural Center is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment of education and celebration of the numerous cultures of Brandeis University. They support a number of culturally focused student organizations.

Gender and Sexuality Center

The Gender and Sexuality Center provides education and resources on diversity, equity, and inclusion as well as affirming space and community resources for LGBTQ+ people and allies.

International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO)

The Brandeis International Students and Scholars Office supports international students from across the globe during their time at Brandeis.

Center for Teaching and Learning

The Center for Teaching and Learning provides support for all members of Brandeis currently teaching. They host workshops and hold other consultations for current TAs and will also help organize grants to fund new classes developed by faculty and graduate students.

University Writing Center

The University Writing Center provides general support and feedback on all types of writing. Unlike the SciComm lab, this is for the entire university and very broadly focused on writing.
