Class Correspondent

Juliet Cantor Barr and Michael Barr, P’09, P’12, live in Ramsey, New Jersey. Michael works at Alexion, a pharmaceutical company, and Juliet is a Jewish educator at two congregations (Temple Israel, in New Rochelle, New York, and the Jewish Congregation of Kinnelon, New Jersey). They enjoy going out to concerts when they’re not working. Son Zachary ’09 is a history teacher in Newton, Massachusetts. Daughter Madeleine ’12 works in the Boston area, developing partnerships between car companies and electricity providers. Their youngest, Jacob, graduated from Tufts and is spending a year in Israel with Ultimate Peace, teaching Jewish, Christian and Muslim children conflict resolution on the Frisbee field. Lynette Bassman left her teaching job at the California School of Professional Psychology after 19 years and is loving being a full-time psychotherapist at Central Valley Indian Health. She is happily divorced and living with John Reed, a retired public defender, in the cohousing community she helped build in Fresno. Her son, Jonah, is in college. Lynette recently created an iPhone app called Don’t Eat That! Michael and Terri Klein, P’07, have been married since graduation (more than 35 years). Michael is a pediatrician in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, after 25 years of practice in central Connecticut. Terri is a poet/playwright/performer with local success. Heather ’07, their elder child, is an Actors’ Equity stage manager. Phillip, their younger, is studying Chinese medicine. Michael and Terri love live theater and have been known to see three or four Broadway shows in as many days. Sally Plone, P’20, who lives in Newton, Massachusetts, is a psychotherapist, divorce mediator and video editor. Her son is a Brandeis freshman.
