25th Reunion
June 9-11, 2017

I went to the James Taylor/Jackson Browne concert at Fenway Park this summer. So many songs brought back memories of Brandeis days — laughing, and studying, and talking for hours and hours. Were your ears burning, Caren, Lea and Lori? If you find yourself yearning to see friendly faces from our class, you’re in luck. Our 25th (wha?!) Reunion dates are June 9-11, 2017. Mark your calendars now. On a personal note, I have co-authored two new books for parents and teachers: “Your Child’s Social and Emotional Well-Being” and a second edition of “Your Anxious Child: How Parents and Teachers Can Relieve Anxiety in Children.” I serve as chair of the school committee in Belmont, Massachusetts.

She obtained an MSW in 2013 and currently works in an Eliot Community Human Services program that intervenes with tenants who are being threatened with eviction as a result of a disability. She has been married for 18 years; she and her spouse live in Medford, Massachusetts, with their greyhound. Amir Karni is a general surgeon in Houston. He and his wife, Tammy, have two boys and a girl. His elder son celebrated his bar mitzvah in May 2016. The series, geared toward kids ages 3-8, premiered on Nov. 23, 2016. Olga Stambler is an attorney in Chicago at Hurst, Robin & Kay, where she handles all aspects of domestic-relations litigation, including division of complex marital assets, maintenance, child support and allocation of parental responsibilities. She also practices collaborative divorce and mediation. Scott Tobin was awarded the Sylvan Adams Nefesh B’Nefesh Bonei Zion Prize at a ceremony at the Israeli Knesset.
