Parking and Traffic
Located in the Stoneman building, the Office of Parking and Traffic is responsible for registering, monitoring and controlling all motor vehicles operated by the members of the Brandeis community and their guests. Parking permits are issued annually in order to establish a uniform standard of parking and ownership.
This office utilizes four parking monitors and several student assistants to issue, track and collect more than 10,000 violation notices each year. With more than 25 parking lots and two miles of roadways, the parking and traffic office's major objective is ensuring a safe environment for all. Detailed information regarding parking and traffic regulations can be found in the Motor Vehicle Regulation Manual.
Visitors to the university who drive may procure a visitor parking pass at the main entrance gatehouse between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., Monday through Friday. During all other hours, visitor passes may be obtained at the University Police Dispatch Center in the Stoneman Building.
Student guests who are staying overnight must register with the university police and obtain a temporary pass for their vehicle. Overnight passes may be obtained at the University Police Dispatch Center in the Stoneman Building.
