Isaac Haber

Isaac is currently interning at an editorial services company called CamridgeEditors, where he writes weeklyposts for the company blog and recently pitched a social media outreach campaign that he will work on for the remainder of the semester. He has enjoyed having the opportunity to edit the other intern’s blog posts, as editing is a useful skill for any writer to have. Isaac decided to major in Creative Writing because he used to do standup comedy and write music, and he has found that fiction writing has allowed him to explore topics that interest him in more depth than those forms did.

Isaac typically reads literary fiction and enjoys humor writers such as Simon Rich and David Sedaris. He recommends Susan Choi’s Trust Exercise to English and Creative Writing majors interested in literary fiction and Ben Marcus’s Notes from the Void, a short story collection that he describes as making you dread the future while also inducing light chuckles. In the future, Isaac hopes to publish novels and also hopes that many people will read said novels.
