Susan Handloff reports that after being bored staying inside in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, she and husband Bert spent the winter being bored staying inside in Scottsdale, Arizona. “At least we don’t have to deal with the snow,” she writes. “It was difficult to tell our kids they couldn’t come for Thanksgiving but better for everyone.” She says she loved seeing everyone who attended the “Evening at Saldi’s” Zoom reunion. Paintings by Suzanne Hodes were part of an exhibition at New York City’s apexart gallery marking the 75th anniversary of Hiroshima. Suzanne reports her twin grandsons, Charlie and Danny Linitz, attend Gann Academy, in Waltham. Susan Kahn has written four new books. “Sue’s Strategies: Rock Your Reading and Spelling” is an instructional book about literacy, focusing on vowels and suffixes. The other volumes — “Sue’s Strategies: Syllable Practice for Reading Accuracy and Fluency, Books 1.5, 2.5 and 3.5” — are a continuation of a workbook series Susan began in 2016.
