Deborah Bial, H’12, president and founder of the Posse Foundation, has been appointed to the board of directors of Xometry, a leading on-demand manufacturing marketplace. Bonnie Effros writes, “Just a short greeting to classmates from Liverpool, England, where we moved in July 2017 when I took up the Chaddock Chair of Economic and Social History at the University of Liverpool. David has enjoyed working at the Royal College of Physicians, and our boys Max (12) and Simon (8) are thriving. My newest publication is ‘The Oxford Handbook of the Merovingian World,’ which I co-edited. The pandemic has been severe in the northwest of England, but thankfully we are managing and wish everyone well.” Cheryl (Eastman) Hurley, who received a master’s in nursing leadership and management from Western Governors University, works at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix on a 36-bed cardiothoracic progressive-care unit. She and her husband, David, live in Scottsdale. Son Brad graduated from Northern Arizona University with a degree in criminal justice. Daughter Kelsea attends Central College in Pella, Iowa, where she competes on the women’s basketball team.
