Bradley Akers is the CEO of Buyhive Technologies. Since the pandemic began, he has been helping health-care, senior living, retail and food services clients procure high volumes of personal protective equipment from overseas suppliers. Monica (Jacoby) Delyani, who left middle-school teaching in 2018 after more than a decade in education, is head of content marketing and curriculum at TeacherVision, a website that offers resources for teachers. Monica lives in the Boston area with husband Nick, daughter Devin, son Jacob and Milo the Westie. Rebecca Handler’s debut novel, published by Unnamed Press, is “Edie Richter Is Not Alone,” the story of a woman who commits an unthinkable act and must deal with the aftermath. Pulitzer Prize-winning author Andrew Sean Greer reviewed it this way: “Hilariously heartbreakingly honest on every page, Rebecca Handler’s novel is that rare thing: a perfect book.” Ray Selvadurai, a varsity men’s soccer captain as an undergrad, is celebrating his 23rd year at the helm of Manhattan Soccer Club, New York City’s largest nonprofit youth soccer organization. In March, he was honored by Randall’s Island Park Alliance at its virtual gala for his work at MSC. He serves as an alumni sports captain for Friends of Brandeis Athletics. In October, leadership expert Simon Sinek was the keynote speaker at the virtual Gartner IT Symposium/Xpo, which helps CIOs and IT executives worldwide address critical challenges.
