After Aaron Greenberg’s vice president of camp engagement position at the JCC Association was eliminated due to COVID-19, in October he launched Jewish Day Camp Network, to support and consult for Jewish day camps in North America. More than 50 camps have signed on, and he looks forward to helping them open safely and successfully this summer. Proud mom Ellen Jawitz, P’24, reports younger son Noah Leikind ’24 is a first-year at Brandeis. She writes, “My older son is also in college, and my husband and I have been adapting to life in the empty nest during the pandemic. Our newly adopted rescue dog, Teddy, keeps us busy. I work at Jewish Family and Children’s Service in Waltham, where I help families in need access food, shelter and public-benefits programs.” Alan Reinach, who practices pulmonary and critical care medicine, in January took over as president of the medical staff at Holy Redeemer Hospital and Medical Center, in Meadowbrook, Pennsylvania. Wife Dana Perlman ’89 is an associate professor and the director of the Midwifery Institute at Jefferson (Thomas Jefferson University). She is the outgoing chair of Directors of Midwifery Education, and has served on its diversity and inclusion task force. The 2019 animated feature David Salter edited for MGM, “The Addams Family,” won the Best Editing in Animation award at the 2020 Canadian Cinema Editors Awards (the film’s production was split between the U.S. and Canada). David, who was inducted into the film editors branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences last summer, is currently editing “Under the Boardwalk,” a musical animated feature film for Paramount Pictures, slated for release in summer 2022. Lee Spirer has been named to the board of managers of Ryan, a global tax-services and software provider. Lee is the president and CEO of CIBT Global, which provides travel documents services.
